Dear Community Board 4 Members,
As a long-time resident of Hell's Kitchen, I strongly urge you to approve the xl dance bar application for a new liquor license.
I was extremely dismayed to learn that in the last 5 years there has been not one new liquor/cabaret license issued to a gay nightlife venue.
As the LGBT community continues to grow and expand into Hellís Kitchen, it makes perfect sense to permit a quality nightlife venue like xl dance bar, which will offer a safe and inviting venue for entertainment and dancing.
The new location, on far West 42nd Street, will not have any adverse impacts on the surrounding community.
In fact, it will become a welcome addition to this increasingly
vibrant neighborhood.
I strongly encourage you to vote in favor of this application and greatly appreciate your attention to this important issue.
